... I haven't avoided Creatrix's cold. Still, she wasn't in bed for too long, and so maybe I won't be either.

(What is it with this mood of determined optimism? It isn't like me at all! ;-) )

Optimism better than pessimism. After all, there are enough things to be genuinely concerned about without expecting everything to be worrisome. Expectations are often fulfilled :)
