I have one (this is confession time but it's not you or anyone on your flist, promise!) because I friended someone who is interesting - we comment on each others journals often - BUT who has phases of mega-whinging and is a dreadful hypochondriac. So if I'm feeling a bit tired/busy I can't be bothered with it, and have one filter that excludes the misery poster.
