Ma'am, this is the village named Flitwick in the county of Bedfordshire; admittedly an ill-favoured place, yet better supplied with shops than our own meagre hamlet.

The name of "Andrew Underwood" does ring the faintest of bells, although I cannot charge my mind as to the details of our acquaintance. I am more thoroughly acquainted with others of that name, in particular Derek (who did spin the cricket ball most effectively for the county of Kent), and the brethren Rory and Anthony (who displayed grace and style for Leicester Football Club).
