My results are almost the same as yours, except add Chrestomanci, Artemis Fowl and The Dark is Rising, and strike Bujold and Doc Smith. Secret Twin strikes again!
I do so agree with you about Mervyn Peake. He was an alumnus of the boys' school, and the library is named after him, which probably accounts for its illogical staircase.
