It was very good. The food service wasn't great - the (non English speaking waitress) initially didn't understand my order, and tried to overcharge us (accidentally, I'm pretty sure). But my food was very good (and adaese's was pretty good, just not quite so much to her taste); my Penny Black mild was an excellent choice from their range of six real ales; and I was impressed to see Calvados, Somerset Apple Brandy, and Apple Eau de Vie on offer.
