Crime maps

Local crime maps in the UK. Interesting or worrying, depending on your point of view, and what you find.

Wow. My street is terrible! (Though the majority of that is related to the noisy pubs - I'm guessing the cases of violent crime are all drunk people headbutting other drunk people...)

*wonders where the burglaries occurred*

Our street is very quiet (fingers crossed, etc.) and I suspect the one incident listed for antisocial behaviour was probably kids acting out in the park. On the other hand, I also suspect they may not be counting British Transport Police data as I am sure there has been the odd incident at Mordor & Harad station.

Looked up my old street, which matched up with what I remembered (some ASBOs from the flats that backed up to mine, a few traffic incidents at a particularly nasty zebra crossing, thankfully nothing terribly disturbing). I still remember calling the police at 4 AM to report a very loud noise that turned out to be someone having thrown a heavy object at a shop window in the high street below -- fortunately, the window was shatterproof glass, but the noise woke me out of a sound sleep.

Seems we have no crime at all but tomorrow I must to do serious battle with the powers at DEFRA so that might change!

Seems to still be bust for me. Mind you I did just get my LNP partnership email from the local Sergeant so I know there was a robbery on my street last month but still the area had 5 less than Jan 2010, and various other figures are down too. We also tend to get leafleted by the Police when they bust up a cannabis factory or crack-house in the road at the bottom of the hill so I don't think I'll be very surprised when that site comes back up.
