Voted for Goldfinger as the best title song because it's the most Bondian though as a song I originally was going to vote for Live and Let Die, The Living Daylights or View to a Kill. ('80s girl, me?)

Didn't vote for best Bond actor, because none of them have actually demonstrated much in the way of acting, rather than running around, delivering PUA lines with a straight face, and smouldering.

Best Bond girl = M.

The trouble with Live and Let Die is "this world in which we live in" - like chisels down a blackboard!

In aural self-defence, I decided years ago he must be saying "this world in which we're livin'".

Timothy Dalton is certainly quite capable of acting well - even if it doesn't show terribly well on film. But I saw him as Lord Asriel at the National, when they did His Dark Materials. A marvellous performance - and then he turned up on the next table in the restaurant over dinner, and spent the whole meal staying in character and winding up the small boy also of his party.

This is true, I've seen him act well in other roles, but as Bond he just struck a wrong note. But I never let the truth get in the way of a good snark ;-)
