Personally I think letting several hundred extreme geeks loose on the sportiest university campus in the country, and then giving them flaming torches, is just asking for a) trouble, and b) questions along the lines of Where are the pitchforks, and where is the Sports Science building?

No mention in the news, needless to say, of the serious academic side of things. I asked Verlyn Flieger a question! She said it was a very good question! She couldn't answer it! But will any news report pick up on this? No chance.

Still, it was all huge fun. Lovely to see so many good friends, hope to add a few new ones.
