I'm still not sure whether that is a comment on the sentece I quoted, or your own page 52 sentence 5 entry!

I was commenting on the sentence you quoted when interpreted in the light of a status report!
I wasn't going to do the meme but here you go: nearest book (cheating slightly, because I'm not sure precisely which one that is): oh, oops, it's a book of poetry and there is actually no fifth sentence (cheating again):
...shake hands with our old selves, the ones whose names we have forgotten...
