An idea and some links

Having watched Hitchcock's film "Spellbound" yesterday (with an impostor and psycho-analysts), I am now thinking of a Hitchcock-directed film of Blandings Castle. Cary Grant could play Galahad, with James Stewart as Lord Emsworth, Gregory Peck as Sir Roderick Glossop, and Jessie Royce Landis as Lady Constance Keeble, with the theft of the Empress of Blandings being the McGuffin. Alfred Hitchcock's trademark cameo appearance would be as Beech the butler.

Sounds a perfect version to me. Oh and Bernard Hermann to do the film score as he did with "Psycho" and "North By Northwest".
