Books and films

Recent books have included:
- a re-read of Bill Bryson's "Notes from a Small Island"
- Susan Cooper's "The Dark is Rising" (nearly finished)
- dipping into Des McHale's "Wit"
- likewise with AC Fox-Davies' "The Art of Heraldry"
- just started Christopher Priest's "The Affirmation"
- and I have been re-reading some of Saki's short stories.

Films have included:
- "The China Syndrome" on television
- "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" on DVD (along with various Fred and Ginger films).

Did you finish The Knight in the Thirteenth Century? If so, much kudos! :D
I really enjoy Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies, but haven't seen a complete one for a long time.
(I must do a round-up myself of things lately read and seen.)

We have got all ten of the Fred and Ginger films on DVD :-)
