LJ lost this first time round ...

At Glasgow '95, I was an usher for the Hugos, and ushered DL on and off the stage. This felt very odd, as he clearly knew his way around a Hugo ceremony far better than I did.

I was there for 95 - I wonder how many others reading this thread were there? I'm pretty sure the Marquis was there as well.
