Hospital update

More starvation diet today - clear fluids until midday.

Got to the hospital, answered their questions, completed the forms, sat around for a while.

They did the scope with gas-and-air only! - no needles. It was darn uncomfortable, but I preferred it to an IV. They removed one polyp, which looked fairly normal.

More sitting around, cup of weak cool sweet tea, then released. Creatrix, the darling, had brought along some biscuits, and I got a Ribena and a Twix from the hospital shop; then home to real tea. Creatrix is now cooking our steaks, and our very own small crop of new potatoes.

Glad to hear that it went as well as could be expected... these things are never pleasant but at least it's over and done with. Take care of yourself for a few days & have lots of treats!

Thank you :-) My treats have been limited to (a) not going to London tonight, (b) watching bits of Airplane, and (C) finding out that Friday's train strike has been called off!
