Disclaimer: I've not seen the series!

Which version?

[identity profile] wellinghall.livejournal.com 2006-10-20 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
Pedant! ;-)

The current one ...

Ah, then I haven't seen that. I've just seen the one with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. :-)

I think the results so far indicate that you have more women then men on your friends list. ;-) Either that, or the men are refraining from voting... or else they all harbour secret longings for glowering men in black leather (and for fallow deer).

Hmm... I wonder what the male/female balance on LJ is. *rushes off to see if anywhere can tell me*

4 : 8 male : female voted

25 : 51 male : female on my FList (I think! - there are a few I'm not quite sure of)

Ah. I didn't realise that you could view the full results and find out who had voted for what. There I was, assuming I'd be totally anonymous in my protestation of lust for Guy of Gisburne... ;-)

And, according to LJ stats, 67.6% of all LJ users are female, so the male: female ratio on your Friends list is fairly representive of LJ as a whole.

Thanks (although I'm not entirely sure I trust some of those raw age data!)

No, I'm afraid your fangirlish habits are displayed for all to see ;-)

They all looked so naff, and the acting/script so dreary on the tiny bit I saw, and in writeups of the first ep, that I didn't bother. I could just as easily have gone for the deer as the forest. Who plays Guy of Gisborne and I'll look him up and get back to you.

He's played by Richard Armitage:

Am I the only one who things that Marion / Lucy Griffiths looks a bit like Anna Friel? (and none the worse for that ... )

Mind you, I have thought that some of those deer look a bit tasty ;-)

No, she doesn't. Or no more than anyone young, female with dark hair and dark eyes would anyway.

I've looked up the chap who plays Guy of Gisburne (and the rest of the main characters). Ew. No totty there at all, IMO. Think I shall continue to give that program a wide berth to be honest.

Don't think I have ever eaten venison. I would, though. Oh, maybe I've had a pork and venison sausage. But I don't think that really counts, it just tasted like a nice ausage.

You appear to be in the minority regarding Guy of Gisborne!

You'll have chance to eat venison next weekend, in the form of a special dj-friendly casserole.
