Didn't this happen last time we built a new lot of subs, too?

(In fact it turns out that the BBC article mentions HMS Trafalgar in 2002. Don't the navy have, you know, charts or something for their training grounds?)

Things do get grounded around there from time to time - before the bridge was built I once nearly got stuck on the island because the frequent ferry sat high and dry...

I see the sub is free now, but I like the suggestion that the greatest worry was the tide exposing the top-secret propulsion system!
