Many thanks! My parents and I buck the national trend as one of the 10 percent of families in the States who do not have turkey etc. on this National Day of Gluttony. But I'll soon have to help make almost 2 kilos of meatballs to go with our spaghetti!

You missed us!

We are now on our way back to Europe, and visiting my uncle who was celebrating his first thanksgiving as a US citizen. Though I am afraid we had chicken instead of turkey (those of us who aren't vegetarian - Meglorien made a nut roast for those who are).

It was all very nice.
