"connected with" must cover most people, if only at the "my neighbour's cousin once went to Disneyworld" level.

Thank you. I hope you also have a day with people you like, and good things to eat!

You are very welcome :-) I spent the early morning and the evening with my favourite person, and we had fish pie and pumpkin pie.

Thank you! I'm about to have a cup of tea, then will start assembling the mushroom stuffing.

Many thanks! My parents and I buck the national trend as one of the 10 percent of families in the States who do not have turkey etc. on this National Day of Gluttony. But I'll soon have to help make almost 2 kilos of meatballs to go with our spaghetti!

I shall say (most appropriately!) "Thank you!" here, because Facebook isn't allowing me to post, comment, or read messages.

You missed us!

We are now on our way back to Europe, and visiting my uncle who was celebrating his first thanksgiving as a US citizen. Though I am afraid we had chicken instead of turkey (those of us who aren't vegetarian - Meglorien made a nut roast for those who are).

It was all very nice.

Whoops! again.

[livejournal.com profile] meglorien had said you would be visiting you family, but I had assumed she meant in Ireland. I'm pleased you had a good time.
