Tall ship in Bristol harbour

ETA: Google and Flickr tell me that she is the Kaskelot.

This is a fine picture, but would you mind putting it behind a cut-tag, please? It's making my LJ much too wide to fit into my browser...

You're welcome! I'm sorry about the original problem (which I suspect I hadn't spotted myself because I posted the photo using my phone).

Lovely! I hope she's safe there, given the extreme winds we're having, although it must be better than most harbours in the south-west right now.

This harbour is actually in the centre of Bristol, so probably as safe as anywhere in the south-west.

What a beautiful ship! Do you know how long she is staying in Bristol?

... the little houseboat in front of her looks a tad embarrassed!

It does, doesn't it!

Apparently Bristol is her home port, although she will be heading to London after winter maintenance has been carried out, and she is often used for filming.

It is a lovely picture

Thank you! :-)

She is very beautiful. Very like, and almost as beautiful as, my all-time favourite tall ship Dar Mlodziezy (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/55/Dar_Mlodziezy1.jpg). This is a big compliment, believe me!

I am pleased you like her - and I can quite see why you like the Dar Mlodziety!
