I take it they just found the box with the missing Return of the Ring lanyards in it? I wondered why we only got a bit of ribbon with our badges when we were there!

Ah, I didn't know they had ever gpne missing.

(pardon late response!) Had they lost them? I certainly bought mine at Return of the Ring, they were on sale in the main room with other stalls in. Leftovers were sold at a lower price at Oxonmoot following (when I think we bought ones for the boys as well), and the few remaining were available this year with a suggestion to make a donation. I think ribbons were the standard free-issue thing at Return of the Ring.

<i I think ribbons were the standard free-issue thing at Return of the Ring.</i> - ah, that explains it... We give the lanyards with the badges at WriterConUK - although we didn't mind the ribbons.

These pictures just amused me as it seem everyone here got a left-over lanyard!

Lots of very amiable-looking faces. :) And capturing a shot of spectral dancers is quite something!

Yes; they are only visible for a few minutes each year, so I am pleased I was able to get a shot of this rare event.

Nice collection. Not having attended the banquet it was good to see old friends looking 'posh'.

There were some very sparkly outfits on display.
