Al Stewart. 60s-onwards folk-rock, often with an historical theme. I've been a fan for a long time, but he is increasingly pushing towards the top of my "favourite music" list. We saw him a couple of years ago at the Barbican, and really enjoyed it; we then got tickets to go and see him again, but we were ill :-(
