AKICOLJ: xkcd
Jun. 9th, 2012 04:32 pmI'm trying to find an xkcd cartoon. Someone is locked out, and is trying a number of technologically-advanced and esoteric ways of getting in touch with their flatmate; but hasn't thought to ring the doorbell. Any ideas?

Happy New Year
Dec. 31st, 2010 08:15 pmHappy New Year to you all! May 2011 bring you what you are wishing for.
We have been taking photos ... ( Read more... )
And looking at Alex, which continues the Ashes theme ( Read more... )
And now I will lay down the laptop and concentrate on The Key of Time.

Thoughts on polling day
May. 6th, 2010 08:39 amI have voted. I took
adaese to the station this morning, then drove back to the polling station, then onto work.
This is by no means my earliest vote. One year - it was probably 1992 - I was queueing outside the polling station when it opened at 7am. We were shown that the ballot boxes were empty before they were sealed.
There were eight candidates in our constituency, which is a new one, and which is thought to be a three-way marginal. The last candidate on the list was "Vote zero none of the above".
I refer you to today's Matt cartoon:

Please vote!
