After the moot

I have today off work, to tidy, wash, wash up, shop, go to the dry cleaners, make phone calls, and write a few letters. I am telling myself firmly that today is not to email, LJ, sleep, read, doss, and watch TV.

Thank you to all those (especially ladyofastolat and king_pellinor) who left bottles and cakes behind at the weekend; to whoever left their toothpaste ;-); and to didiusjulianus for the CDs, tapes and book.

Those of you who were here at the weekend will have noticed that I was still coughing and blowing, but I am recovering; my colds always take a long time to go. I also have two sore shoulders (but thanks for the advice, didiusjulianus); a slightly twisted ankle; and a bruised and grazed ankle where the sleeping mat and the stairs ganged up on me.

I have a pretty busy week coming up, with an informal (but important) lunchtime meeting at work on Tuesday; an (unrelated) appointment on Tuesday evening; and a trip to Glasgow next Sunday - Tuesday. My boss is off work this week, which will remove one source of hassle; but there is something coming up for which I had hoped to rely on her experience.

I think a shower, clothes, and chores are the order of the day. If you see me on here before lunchtime, you have my permission to kick me off ;-)
