I would love to see pictures of the Italian chapel, the Old Man of Hoy, the Ring of Brodgha, Skara Brae (all spellings should be considered approximate).

Have you ever read Olivers Travels by Alan Plater? Finishes up in the Orkneys.

How are you getting there? I would also be interested in pictures of the journey!

Consider them done (although the OMoH is a bit off the beaten track - but I'll give you an icon of it, at least!) Alas, we are flying up, which makes the journey a bit less interesting.

I haven't read Oliver's Travels, although I seem to remember someone else (kargicq?) recommending it.

Any of the above would be fine. All of them would be even better. Though doing karate kicks while holding a shotgun and wearing a black leather catsuit might be over doing things a little. ;-)

Indeed so; that is just one of the reasons why I suggested that doing all three together might be over doing things a little. Another is that somebody might get hurt.
