Eeee! Squee! *bounces up and down ecstatically* Jane Austen and a member of the Dravidian language family - how utterly perfect! Where can I order it?

I was rather thinking of you ...

Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com both have it on DVD, although only in Region 1; and there's one on eBay.

Brilliant - thanks! I'll go and look for it shortly. I think my copy of Firefly is Region 1, so I can probably watch it on the computer.

This sounds pretty good to me, so long as there is Bolly wood dancing to go with the musical numbers (and it seems shorter than most).

We did NOT rate Bride & Prejudice very highly, although it passed the time amiably enough. And although she's very sweet, not unattractive, and talented, the lead actress (whose name I forget, Arandhati Rae or something like that? although I know exactly who you mean) does not live up to the oft-used title of "world;s most beautiful woman" according to Mrdj, and I tend to agree.

I quite liked Monsoon Wedding though.

That'd be "Bollywood" of course.

Well, Bride and Prejudice was not at all bad - certainly much better than the latest Hollywood P&P remake, so I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
