I've just found out that the Methodists' annual book sale will be taking place on Saturday 28 October. This is always extensive, and well worth attending.

And I've remembered that I've got some very old Courage Imperial Russian Stout in the cupboard, waiting for someone to come along and help me drink it up.

Strangely, I find the juxtaposition of Methodism and Imperial Russian Stout as "features" amusing.

You'll be more than welcome! You'll have to put up with the rest of us talking Tolkien, Tolkien society politics, and past moots, mind you; but board games, DVDs and walks will all be part of the mix as well.
