I liked the first one a lot. It's so typical. I remember being given a bicycle and having to pretend I didn't know I was going to get it, because I "accidentally" had found it out somewhere in the house. Trying to hide presents for a child in the house, particularly unwrapped, is asking for trouble. It reminds me of the Wee Free Men... (They say something along the lines: If they didn't want us to see it, why did they lock it?")
