wellinghall1. If you could, would you be a movie star or a rock star? Which one, and why?
I'd like to be a rock star ... but those of you who he heard me sing will know why this can never be.
2. Have you ever been in the media (TV, radio, papers)?
Yes, in several minor ways. I was on BBC TV about ten years ago talking about Tolkien. I have had letters in the Times and the Financial Times, and in the Actuary magazine. And a poem in the Nottingham Evening Post when I was in a kid. Oh, and my photo in the Leicester Evening Mercury when they did a feature on the primary school I was at.
3. Do you know anyone who's been on a reality TV show?
No, but I was at Uni with someone who had been on the Krypton Factor.
4. Have you ever met anyone famous?
I was at school with Tim Munton, who later went on to play cricket for Leicestershire, Warwickshire and England.
I got Alec Guinness' autograph.
5. Who would play you in a movie?
Dunno! Jim Carrey, maybe?
