What is the best way of cleaning a laptop screen? (Or rather, two laptop screens? ;-) )

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I always just used a damp piece of kitchen paper, possibly with a dot of very mild washing up liquid if it's really bad.

Will be intrigued to see the proper way.

Paper is somewhat abrasive. Try a dampened soft cloth instead.

Exactly the same treatment as you would use with your camera lenses works very well. Paper is very bad btw and will cause micro scratches

I use the microfibre cloth I also use on my glasses (made for that purpose), but I have no idea if that is actually a good thing...
