I've decided I probably like Wight Frags.

There has been playing of Axis & Allies, Lego Star Wars, various Wii games, and (by others) Halo and diverse shoot-em-ups. Very much beer has been drunk, along with assorted wines, ciders, perries and ports. The brownies, chocolate rice crispy cakes, chocolate fridge cake and blueberry cake are all excellent. Creatrix and [livejournal.com profile] ladyofastolat Got Very Wet Indeed (TM) going to get more supplies.

Dr Who was good, save for the excessive number of heavy machine guns being fired (and rather carelessly towards the village!), and the suspiciously new cricket ball. We're now waiting for the chinese dinner to arrive. [livejournal.com profile] ladyofastolat* and [livejournal.com profile] king_pellinor have a very good book collection.

*She has just asked me to say nice things about her. She clearly doesn't know that I was already doing this.

If you know about Wight Frag, you probably know who is here - the usual suspects.

Yes. Must remember to frisk you before you leave, to make sure that we don't suddenly have a Not As Good Book Collection as we had a few days ago... ;-)

Oh come on now, if I can be trusted not to take [livejournal.com profile] prince_eldarion's wombat with me, I can surely be trusted not to smuggle books out with me ...

Some would say that it is a bit strange to be exchanging LJ comments while sitting at computers located about 6 inches away from each other. I can't possibly think why. ;-)

But then, some of the other people are very odd indeed ;-)

I'm not suspect, nobody's ever proved anything...

I very strongly suspect you of having been responsible for most fo the baking this weekend.

So did they do the dance of the Happy Badger for you?

[livejournal.com profile] ladyofastolat was bemused by this reference. But then, this might just have been the cider.

[livejournal.com profile] king_pellinor did pass me the +3 beer of tastiness, though, so that was okay ;-)

Drat! I was hoping the challenge might provoke them to come up with something; obviously the draw of multi-player shoot em ups was too great.

Either that or the beer and cider :-)

Your "chocolate fridge cake" has me puzzled. Was it chocolate cake in the shape of a fridge? Or perhaps choclate fudge cake with attitude?

(Forgive me, but anything chocolatey gets my attention)

It's set in the fridge rather than baked. [livejournal.com profile] chainmailmaiden, would you be able to supply [livejournal.com profile] asklepia with more details?

That sounds interesting - I couldn't possibly burn it, for a start! I'd love the recipe if someone can post it.

I have posted the recipe on my journal here: Rich Chocolate Slice It's not really a cake as such, but it is very nice :-) I presume this is the one that [livejournal.com profile] wellinghall is meaning, as I did bring Rocky Road Bars too and they are also made in the fridge.

Gaming, board-gaming and good company sounds like the perfect weekend.

It was!

I did very little PC gaming compared to most, although I did play a little Unreal this morning, and some Star Wars Lego and Wii games. I think everyone enjoyed themselves - save for [livejournal.com profile] prince_eldarion, anyway, who wasn't too well.
