Yesterday

I was deserted by Creatrix yesterday - she was at Covent Garden with her mother, watching the Royal Ballet. I spent most of the afternoon slouched in the living room, watching "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Carry on Cabby". In between, I checked out Madonna's "Material Girl" on YouTube; I hadn't realised quite how closely it was based on "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend". I also sat outside in the sunshine for a bit, which was pleasant.

Then "Dr Who" - truly excellent.

I slept a bit better last night than I had done for the previous couple of nights - still wakeful, but not so fevered. I'm feeling a bit rough at the moment, though - I think a cup of tea is called for.
