1. What kind of wildlife-watching trip you would choose if you had lots of time and money on your hands?

1. I would love to go to northern India, and see tigers, and elephants, and peacocks.
2. Not really.
I have belonged to occasional societies - ZZ9 (Douglas Adams), Octarine (humour in F&SF), Dorothy L Sayers - and been to a few F&SF cons. There are several authors I love, and am more than happy to discuss. But I don't partake in much fannish activity.
3. Bigger, more of a history, more active (now, but there have been periods in the past when it was less active than in Creatrrix's day). But do bear in mind that I first met Taruithorn four years into its history, when Creatrix had already left Oxford; so I never saw it in its first fine careless rapture.
4. Tolkien. Reading The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth got me onto the Battle of Maldon; reading his essays on Beowulf got me onto Beowulf; reading his translation of Sir Gawain got me onto Gawain ...
5. One that had the whole story, including the dragon.
