1. Not really. I would like to try my hand at a short story or two; but the one time I tried a very short story, I found it difficult, and it didn't turn out too well.
2. For musical theatre productions, it may not be cool, but I do like Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Song and Dance."
3. Easy. David Gower.
4. Not so easy. Alastair Cook, maybe.
5. Daerons Books in MK is good. There was a great little one in Rochester, with a friendly owner.
