On Friday, we're off to Oxford; then to Bath; then to Cornwall. We won't be sending postcards, but if anyone wants a photo of something, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Damn. I keep thinking, the weather is lovely and we were supposed to be going to Salisbury, Stonehenge, Avebury, Waylands Smithy etc followed by Oxonmoot this week. Instead I shall be marooned on the sofa, moaning. :(
Growing disturbingly large - I'm still hoping for 22nd September as the big day! I think I made the right choice in not booking Oxonmoot though, as I even struggle to get out of a chair right now so a ride on one of Richard Branson's trains would have been awful... :(
Take a photo of yourselves standing by the sign for Maudlin, Cornwall!!! (http://www.lynnmaudlin.com/links.htm) (a different image is the homepage of my website). Here's a map (http://www.mindat.org/maps.php?id=1031) to help you find it.
Of course, if you're not going to Lostwithiel or Lanhydrock or Fowey, you are excused... {grin}
Alas, we're only going just into Cornwall - about as close to Devon as you can get without actually being in Devon itself! But we'll be thinking of you anyway! ;-)
