I find it odd that you've used the same scale for both questions (if this was your choice and not imposed by the software); I'd expect "receive" to be quite a lot higher than "send" for almost everyone, since emails can be one-one or one-many, but never many-one.

My 10 is actually a max of 7 but you didn't give me any other choice but to click 10 and incoming emails are so few and far between that 0 is the best indicator.

I may have counted the 'number of emails sent' incorrectly: I counted number of emails in my 'sent' tray (or rather, number that would be in the tray if I saved everything as sent). Perhaps it would be better to record the number of emails which arrive in someone else's in-box.

Using the first method, I get far more emails than I send. Using the second, I send far more emails than I get.

This is probably what accounts for the feeling I get that I am not contributing to a 'too many emails' problem, but suffering from it.

I receive about 150 emails per day. I haven't counted my sent emails recently. They aren't the ones that are bugging me!
