It's autumn at the moment. Ask me again in February and I'll doubtless say 'spring'.

I voted for summer, but really, my favourite season is anything but winter. Winters in Norway are no fun, at least if you don't like skiing.

Thanks :) From a foggy day in late December in Oslo last year.

We don't really have winter; we have an extended autumn which lasts until February. So my 'autumn' includes winter.

I used to say Winter but rain and cold is becoming less enjoyable than formerly. Still, the birds are great in winter.

I thought I was going to comment to say I couldn't answer this poll, but when I thought about it some more I decided I could. There are aspects of each season I love, and I don't think I could chose between what I would consider the 'perfect' day for each season, but on balance spring has the fewest of the aspects that I *hate*: (winter too cold and often grey, summer can be way too hot, autumn depressing because the days are getting shorter.) Spring can be cold, but not usually as cold, hot but not usually as hot, stormy and wet but often with the promise of better to come, and has the hopefulness of days getting longer and new life budding and birthing. Yet the 'perfect' day of each season is something to cherish, and the not-too-hot, balmy, scented, deep-blue sky of summer, the sharp, smoky tang of autumn when the leaves are a blaze of colour and starting to rustle on the ground, and the crisp, deep, pristine snowfall below an ice-blue winter sky might all trump even the freshest green spring day ;-)
