I have tried several times to surmount the obstacles in the way of selling on ebay, but the last hurdle is that I seem to need to validate my bank account - but being a joint account the name contains an ampersand, and:
1) The validation thingy does not accept ampersands
2) There is a warning that if the name of the bank account is not typed in character perfect, there will be a charge for failure to validate...
Any ideas? Is the only way to do it to open a bank acocun tin one name only to use with ebay? What a daft situation if so!
I don't give Ebay or Paypal my bank details, I used a credit card instead:I think the consumer protection is better on a credit card and they are easier to change or cancel.
