Thursday: collect hire car; put air in tyres of hire car; up to Leicestershire; be bounced on by small boys.

Friday: to Lincoln; buy whisky, beer, fudge, food, and three lots of books; look round Cathedral. Parents take us out to dinner.

Saturday: take elder nephew to Newark air museum; lunch at grandparents; into Grantham to see aunts and uncles.

Not been to Lincoln since last year - it's difficult with prams up Steep Hill :( Great bookshops up there, too.

I think there is a Jet Provost at Newark air museum that my dad actually worked on! I say 'think' as I'm almost sure it's there and not one of the other air museums! He was based at Syerston, at the Flying School, for a while...

There certainly is a Jet Provost, but I didn't see a label saying, "Made by Mr lalwendaboggart ... ;-)
