Some of my Oxbridge friends might be able to help me with this - how is the name Rognvald (as in Earl Rognvald of More) pronounced?

From hearing people like Magnus Magnusson say viking names on tv I'd suggest that you'd say it as if there were an 'a' or a hyphen between the 'n' & 'v'

Thanks for this. (I was living in a vain hope that the g and the v might be silent, in which case it would be pronounced in the same way as my father's name).
