Jobsworths who won't let you into your office without a pass, even though they know you, "Because it's the rules"

Memes that give results you disagree with so much, you aren't prepared to put them up on your LJ

eBay sellers who don't leave feedback, and don't respond to your requests for it
eBay goods that don't arrive, and the seller abrogates all responsibility
Trans-Atlantic shipping charges

Living too far away from friends and family

On a brighter note - some things I'm pleased about

Good new(-ish) science fiction (eg the "Vatta's War" series by Elizabeth Moon)
Good new fantasy (eg "Temeraire" by Naomi Novik)

Crufts on TV - flyball last night, and gundogs tonight
Repeats of old comedies - The Goodies, The Muppets

Goldfinches on the bird feeders

Friends who comment on LJ entries, and who have comment-worthy entries on their own LJs

Helpful, understanding eBay sellers

Proper mechanical, metal, manual cameras
Getting the odd decent shot

Getting to see my new cousins (one two months old, one five months old) next weekend

Getting to see Leicester Tigers v The Barbarians next weekend

England - France

Bl**dy appalling first-half performance by England. The last five minutes was better, but apart from that, we don't deserve to be down by as little as 13 points. I don't think anyone in a white shirt gets any credit from that little lot.
