Nice location and affordable! Don't get that very often now. Wouldn't fancy the length of the commute to London and back each day though...

Obviously you'd need to already own somewhere south of the line of the Danelaw in order to be able to sell up, buy that place and have some cash to live on. After all two cottages, unless occupied by sitting tenants would mean you could live in one and rent the other out for holidays or wildlife camera team visitors.
