Date: 2008-06-30 03:41 pm (UTC)At any rate suicide rates for men are significantly higher than women (http://www.mind.org.uk/Information/Factsheets/Statistics/Statistics+2.htm#Suicide_mortality) which seems in keeping with the general trend, although probably not for the same reasons.
