Balfour Castle goes on the market

"Shapinsay's Balfour Castle and estate has been put on the market by the Zawadski family with an asking price of over £2.7 million.

The estate extends to about 770 acres and includes the castle, run by the family as a country house hotel, the castle grounds, two cottages and Balfour Mains Farm.

Further land and the islands of Muckle Green Holm and Helliar Holm may also be available in addition.

The sale of the estate, which is available as a whole or in lots, is being handled by Edinburgh's Savills and CKD Galbraith, of Inverness."

Anyone got £2.7m to spare???
