2) I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom with four kids who becomes a successful writer of YA fiction. Or an astronaut. Or a ballerina. Or a dragon-slayer. I was a bit fuzzy on the details.
3) I'd like to be able to sing.

Somewhere in there I wanted to be a rock'n'roll star and pursued that in a remarkably foot-shooting fashion; now I'm grateful I didn't succeed, at least not in my youth!
3. I'm actually pretty rich in talent; what I REALLY want is better character, more discipline - I'd make better use of the talents I have *sigh*... chocolate, anyone?!

Pierced earlobes. I only found out about my contact allergy to all metals after I had them done.

Sort of. I wanted to be a mom/primary caregiver to my kids (without daycare), and I've been able to do that. I also wanted to teach undergrads, and I am in my 21st year of doing that. But I had intended to get myself fully credentialed (PhD) and hold a proper (FT) position at a university that actually offered degrees in my discipline, and those things didn't happen. For that matter, I didn't become a famous singer, either.

Besides home? My parents home. We get together on Fridays, have supper, and watch old movies on DVD.

Goof off online. You know, fill out memes on LJ, post nonsense at YouTube, read the Comics Curmudgeon, comment on Ken Jennings' message board, etc.

Bad grammar: sentence fragments, pronoun-antecedent disagreement, non-parallel construction, commas before restrictive clauses, etc.
