That last one should be "too up my own *&^£ for boardgames", IMO. I'm very intellectual, I've spent all afternoon reading bits of journals and (almost) enjoying it ;)
However, my brain has melted once again, and I ticked Trivia when I'll fail miserably to get any of those questions right whatsoever, so I'd just have to a. offer to do the washing up/make the tea or b. listen so I can answer said trivia questions when the occasion next arises!
Anything other than trivia quizzes is okay by me, I particularly like Risk and rather like Monopoly, and get a bit bored with some role-playing/adventure games that go on too long but willing to try just about anything else.
Twister is fun after a beer or several, although I don't suppose that will be on the agenda.
Articulate is good. I know I won't be able to go, but how about Carcasonne, Caylus, Amun-Re, Puerto Rico, Fury of Dracula, Civilisation, History of the World? LotR Risk is better than standard Risk, IMO. Whatever you choose, enjoy.
