How old is that blogger, I wonder?

Especially since it took some outside sources to inform him that LotR was first published in 1954.

Me... I was always fascinated by everything in books I loved, including all those cryptic things printed before or behind the title page. (Before I started working in libraries and learned some of the esoteric secrets.) The publishing history dates were fairly easy to work out.

Well... at least he's reading the book.
