Trying to arrange attendance at funeral.

Talk with boss and boss's boss about the Developments - whatever happens, it's going to mean Change, and I don't do Change very well.

Trying to sort out the effect of one of the cock-ups the menial has made. Talking to boss about it. Talking to boss about menial.

Being too stressed even to complete phone calls properly.

Some change is not good, and you just have to make the best of it. But often change is needed, so you need to look at it positively. Even if it isn't really needed, change can be good because it freshens things up, stops them getting stale.
