Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink

We have no water! Sometime between getting up and making tea, and then going to have showers half an hour later, the water packed up. adaese rang Wessex Water, who said, "Ring Bristol Water," who had a recorded message saying, "We've got a burst water main". So now adaese has soapy hair, and I have a loo that won't flush.

The water was back by the time I went to work. Then disappeared again the next morning; but was again fixed by the time I went to work.

On a walk on Friday evening, we found a hole in the road, with water company signs round it. I guess that is where the problem was.
