"in dulce jubilo" _is_ the Latin for 'I like chocolate', isn't it?

You missed out "Bah, humbug!" which is my favoured option on the last part of the poll.

I tend to scarper, and let Pellinor deal with the whole tipping, which I find horribly embarrassing. When I've had to pay myself, I've just wimped out and done the "keep the change" thing, so I watch the meter anxiously, and in the hope that it will come to a figure in which "keep the change" gives a sensible sized tip.

... I am an eejit, you meant tipping the taxi driver. I tend to just do the 'keep the change' thing, but if I had told them that I needed to get to somewhere in a hurry, and they did.

I often round it up to the nearest £1. Occasionally, I tip a bit more if some aspect of service has been exceptional. if I consider the fare a bit steep already, or need my cash/change for something else, I do not tip at all.
