By consecutive days off, do you mean calendar days? working days? working days not counting public holidays?

My original answer stands, then :)

Depends what you mean by 'off'. I'm giving myself one day when I have no intention of doing any work, but it might extend to 2 or 3. OTOH I'm 'off' for nearly 4 weeks (especially as I bailed 3 days early) - but with so much work to be done by Jan that is designed to be done during this time, that is meaningless.

My version of casual and smart don't differ by much i.e. there is a lot of overlap in my wardrobe depending whether I dress certain pieces up or down, and I try not to be too scruffy even though I have no dress code, so again, what's a smart day and what's a casual day would be hard to define.

Your poll doesn't go up high enough. I finish on Christmas Eve and go back on the 25th January.

I don't know how many consecutive days off I shall have. Depends if a customer decides to create a Festive Drama of some kind or not.

"Extreme weather day" - I only dress casually for work when it is snowy or very hot!

17 days. I am looking forward to every one of them.

A day for moving shelves around...

Basically, if all we are doing is shop-fitting, we get to wear our own clothes but if we are meant to be serving customers, uniform it is.

Sally I'm curious, does this mean that because it is mucky you are asked to wear clothes that you will ordinarily launder afterwards, thus implying that management think people don't wash their uniforms?

No, I don't think so.

Just that if we are not serving customers we might as well be comfortable - our uniforms aren't terrible for doing physical work in compared with some shops, but t-shirts and tracksuit bottoms etc are better.

My partner is on call (although not in work) and so his answer would be 0.

If I were working, I'd never be able to be in casual clothes, as I would be in uniform every day.

You should have another option in the poll which is 'It never happens'.
