... just felt like making a LJ post before bed (yes, that's how exciting my Friday nights are!)

Tomorrow should be more interesting, though - my birthday treat (clay pigeon shooting) in the afternoon, then a colleague's production of "The King and I" in the evening. But on the downside, I've also got to arrange appointments with the dentist, the hygienist *and* the physio!

Very nearly caught up with all my emails - if anyone thinks I owe them one, please say so!

SocT people, hope the Mitre meeting is going / went well - really must get over to Oxford sometime.

And I think that's about it.

Have you ever done clay pigeon shooting before? I had a go last year, it was a lot of fun - I wouldn't want to make a hobby of it, but it was well worth doing.

I used to do it fairly often when I was younger, but the last time was about seven / eight years ago. We both enjoyed it, and can't think why we haven't been since. Maybe this will be the start of some more regular outings.
